The Founder
Natasha Lawrence (she/her/Natty), otherwise known as Natty Love, is a pleasure and sexual health educator with several years of experience providing comprehensive sexual health education, and HIV prevention interventions for Black women, femmes and gender nonconforming individuals. She utilizes pleasure as a tool towards healing, and bridges the gap in sexual health education that is merely focused on risk aversion. Natty takes an all-inclusive approach to sexual health education, that encompasses discussion around sexual pleasure, sexual agency and autonomy, sensuality, eroticism, and consent. Natty's work is grounded in Anti-Racism, Anti-Black Racism, Anti-Oppression, Queer Theory, Sex Positivity, Intersectional Feminist, and Trauma-Informed frameworks, which supports her efforts in prioritizing racialized and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, that are often fed false narratives of being unworthy of pleasure. Join Natty on this journey of pleasure, education, and elevation!

Frequently Asked Questions
What primary services do you offer?
Talking about sex, sexuality, intimacy, and pleasure can be daunting. We have been conditioned to shame the very thing that is written into the grand design of humanity; which often leads to the barriers that block us from experiencing all that a pleasure-centered life has to offer. I believe in meeting people where they are at, so I provide two ways for community to embark on their pleasure journey: 1:1 and group support. Both offerings are provided from a non-judgemental space, with mutually agreed upon guiding principles for you as the participant, and myself as the facilitator/guide.
Organizations may request my services as a guest facilitator, educator, guest speaker, as well as custom workshop creation that best suits the needs of the organizations clients.
What communities have you supported?
I have provided my offerings to children (ages 10 - 12), youth, and adults, who hold multiple intersections and identities. I aim to prioritize people who exist on the margins in various capacities.
I have supported Black and racialized community members, 2SLGBTQIA+ community members, and a big chunk of my work experience has come from being in community with people living with HIV.
My practice is sex positive, sex worker positive, and kink/BDSM positive. I support both monogamous and non-monogamous relationship styles.
I believe in bodily autonomy, which is why I support both body positive and body neutrality narratives. It is a beautiful thing for us to feel good and well in our bodies, and I think it's important to recognize those who may not due to a variety of different factors.
My work is all about meeting people where they are at, and supporting the creation of a safe container to explore what pleasure means/can mean for them, and the potential barriers that stand in their way from experiencing pleasure. It's important to note that we can strive towards safety, but 100% safety can never be guaranteed. So I invite you to not only help with the creation of your safe space, but to also create a brave one.
What are the rates of your services?
I offer a free 15 minute consultation, in order to see if the service that I provide is the right fit for you. For more information on rates and sliding scale, please book your free 15 minute discovery call.
Where do the sessions take place?
Sessions are currently provided virtually, with the option of in-person (subject to change due to ongoing pandemic). More information will be provided during the discovery call.
Do you require a deposit?
To secure your appointment, a 50% deposit is required for 1:1 sessions. This deposit goes towards the full cost of your session. The remaining 50% will be due at the start of your session.
If you are having difficulty with payments, let us work together to figure out something that works for both of us. It is better to speak up if you need assistance, than it is to stay silent. Just like in pleasure, closed mouths don't get fed!
What is your cancellation policy?
We all know that life happens and things can shift at a moment's notice. I do request at least 48 hours for cancellation, as this provides me with the time to adjust my schedule and potentially provide that time slot to another person/group. Any cancellations after the 48 hours may result in the loss of your deposit. I will make this decision on a case by case basis, as I acknowledge that things can change in an instant, and we are not always afforded 48 hours.
Alternatively, you may have the option of transferring your deposit to another date. This will also be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Testimonials
Working with Natty has always been a pleasure! From the first time we had her come in and host a conversation, we kept making sure that we always had Natty come and speak to our community. Natty has such a unique way of making folks in the community feel welcome and heard and she truly makes it easy for you to engage during her workshops and conversations. Honestly, our most popular speaking engagements have been the ones that Natty has been a part of and our guests always describe that they leave feeling affirmed, informed, and wanting to learn more. Natty, you are doing amazing things for the Black community and beyond, it is always a pleasure and an honour to share space with you through your work."
I've had the pleasure of working with Natty on two separate occasions, both in community organizing capacities. Natty is incredibly professional, kind, gentle, patient, creative, and conscious of what group members want to get out of a workshop. She has allowed for group participants to decide the vibe of a session (i.e. what are we hoping to accomplish here? What are community guidelines in this space?) whilst maintaining the flow of the workshop with ease and providing the neccessary education around important relative topics, like trauma held in the body. I could not recommend Natty's services enough, as she offers something truly unique to sexual and mental health education that is desperately needed. Natty will approach your care with the necessary nuance and love that exploring sensitive topics needs. Especially if you're Black/queer/multiply marginalized, consider Natty for your next session!"
A workshop from Natty is unlike a workshop you have ever been to! During the session, she created a warm, comfortable, and most importantly fun environment for us to explore topics around sex, sexuality and strategies for wellness all while centering pleasure. Natty is extremely talented at affirming our individual experiences while prioritizing care from a trauma informed perspective. If you have the opportunity to experience a workshop with Natty, I suggest you get on it ASAP - you won't regret it!"
We had the pleasure of having Natty Love facilitate a workshop on Pleasure and Liberation as part of our Black History Month 2022 Programming at the University of Guelph. The session was incredible - Natty opened a beautiful space for Black students to explore and engage in conversations about their own sexual pleasure and well-being. As participants, we appreciated this safe space for community, vulnerability, and healing. And knowing that her work centers African and Caribbean identities and experiences around sexual liberation made the workshop much more meaningful and empowering to me as a Black woman. Thank you for leading such a beautiful session!"
